Tips from the job
Anchor tall furniture
IKEA supplies a wall anchor kit with every tall wardrobe and shelf for a reason. Concrete, brick and partition walls each need different plugs — we fit the correct one so the unit stays put.
Check your condo rules
Most KL condos allow drilling only during set renovation hours and some ask you to register contractors at the guardhouse. Tell us your building and we will plan around it.
Measure before you buy
Check ceiling height (a 236 cm PAX frame is assembled lying down and needs extra headroom to be stood up), skirting boards, aircond pipes and door swing before ordering a wardrobe.

Frequently asked questions
How much does IKEA furniture assembly cost in KL?
It depends on the item: small pieces are usually RM30–RM80, chests of drawers RM60–RM150, bed frames RM80–RM200 and wardrobes RM150–RM450 (PAX sliding-door systems RM350–RM800). Send your order list on WhatsApp and we will give a total for everything.
Do you assemble furniture from Taobao, Shopee or Lazada?
Yes. We assemble flat-pack furniture from any store, including imported Taobao sets with Chinese instructions. Send product links or photos of the boxes so we can quote accurately.
Can you collect my furniture from IKEA Cheras or IKEA Damansara?
Our job is assembly and installation. For collection, IKEA’s delivery service or a lorry/van service is usually more cost-effective; we can schedule our visit for the day after delivery.
How long does assembly take?
A bed frame or chest of drawers usually takes 45–90 minutes; a full PAX wardrobe with sliding doors and interior fittings can take half a day. A typical new-condo bedroom set is done in one visit.
Do you mount TVs and shelves on the wall?
Yes — TV brackets, floating shelves, mirrors, wall cabinets and curtain rails. We check the wall type first (concrete, brick or partition) and use the right fixings for the weight.
Will you take away the boxes?
We flatten and bundle all packaging so it is easy to dispose of. Removal of large amounts of cardboard can be arranged — ask when you book.
