1. Who we are

This notice is issued by Wanisa Renovations (“we”, “us”), a home repair and renovation service in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). You can reach us on WhatsApp 014-630 8041.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Quote form: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email (optional), area, property type, the services you need, your timeline, preferred date and job description.
  • WhatsApp and calls: messages, photos and videos you send us about a job, and your number.
  • Chat assistant: the questions you type. Standard answers are generated in your browser; if the online assistant is switched on, your messages are sent to our server to produce an answer and are not used for advertising.
  • Technical data: IP address and browser details in server logs, used for security and abuse prevention.
  • Analytics (only if enabled): anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics with cookies.

3. Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
  • To schedule, carry out and follow up on the work.
  • To keep business and accounting records required by law.
  • To protect the website and our customers from spam and abuse.
  • To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the website.

4. Obligatory and voluntary data

Your name and a phone/WhatsApp number are needed for us to respond and arrange the work; without them we cannot handle your request. All other details are voluntary but help us quote accurately.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate — website hosting (Amazon Web Services), email (Google) and messaging (WhatsApp/Meta) — and with authorities when the law requires it. Some of these providers may store data outside Malaysia; we use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.

6. Security

The website is served over HTTPS, form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who handle them.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted within 24 months. Records of completed jobs are kept for as long as required for warranty, tax and legal purposes.

8. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to and correction of your personal data, withdraw your consent, or ask us to limit how we use it. Send your request to WhatsApp 014-630 8041; we will respond within 21 days.

9. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising cookies. Your browser may store small preferences (such as your chat session) in local storage on your device. Analytics cookies are only used if analytics is enabled on this site.

10. Language

This notice is available in English and Bahasa Malaysia. If there is any inconsistency, the English version prevails.
